HE IS RISEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Easter everyone.

He is Risen! Our Lord and savior has conquered death, conquered the grave and is dwelling among us

Mathew 27:
62The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. 63"Sir," they said, "we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise again.' 64So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first."

65"Take a guard," Pilate answered. "Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how." 66So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.

Matthew 28
The Resurrection
1After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.

2There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

5The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."

8So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."
The Guards' Report
11While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. 12When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, 13telling them, "You are to say, 'His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.' 14If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble." 15So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.
The Great Commission
16Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Praise God

No News is Good News, Right?

Hello All.

I was extremely tired last night and my eyes were irritated by the smoke, so I went to bed and David stayed up to keep an eye on the blaze. We never had to evacuate!

The fire is no longer a direct danger to our property or, I believe, the city of Bisbee. There is a large area of State land outside of Bisbee and the fire is more centered on that now. It appears to be mostly under control as I do not see the amount of smoke I did yesterday nor do I see flames, but planes are still flying over and dropping stuff.

After the sun went down last night, you could see flashlights moving up the hill to combat the blaze and then you could hear chain saws cutting down stuff to create a barrier. I also heard them this morning.

The fire was started by a man in Moon Canyon trying to burn his trash. This is, of course, illegal without a permit and the Bisbee Fire Station confirmed a permit had not been issued. Hopefully, this guy will have to pay for everything, but he may have already been punished. I heard a rumor that he had a massive heart attack last night.

Well, I am beat and need to take a nap while the little man is down. Thanks for your prayers and other support. I will post more in this if anything changes or I get more info. In the mean time, check our local paper for an article on the Moon Canyon Fire.

WILDFIRE IN BISBEE!!!

This picture was taken an hour ago. The spread of the fire is now much wider and lower on the hill. Will update with new photos when possible. Might need to pack...

Attention All,

I thought this was the best way to get out the news that I might be evacuating a short time from now. A fire was started this morning on Moon Canyon by a man burning his trash. It has since moved along the mountain top and is now directly across from my house. It remained on the ridge top for several hours and is now moving down the hill toward the street. I live across the street and up on the next hill. The fire seems to also have been continuing to move N/NW of town and completely bordering Bisbee. No one has officially come by to tell us to evacuate, but I will when I feel it is truly necessary. Unfortunately, due to recent developments, it may be soon. There is not much on the news about it at this time.

UPDATE: KVOA Channel 4 out of Tucson just called me to let me know the Bisbee Fire Chief will be on the news soon and should have more on the developments. They are aware that the fire has moved into Old Bisbee.

UPDATE 2: The fire has reached over 200 acres and has spread to encompass the entire border behind Bisbee. It has begun to move down the Gulch into the downtown area. We do now see some people fighting the fire on the hillside, but they appear to be civilians. There was a fire truck on High Road, but it is now gone. This is going to be a long night. Where do we go from here?

Since it looks like this blog will be terminated shortly, I will guide our faithful readers to another place for some great information on everything from politics to terrorists to human rights causes. Check out Gateway Pundit if you don't already go there.

And, as always, you can check out my personal goings-on at My Live Journal Site. What?? You're interested in my personal life?? You Pervs! Ha!

Yep....I havent been posting

As some of you (ahem) may have noticed, this blog has pretty much died. Just for an update to those who know me, I got married on February 18th and have been really busy being the family man. I have absolutely ZERO time to blog unless I slack off from work and hit the laptop in my van...this is almost impossible to do as the boss has been really pushing the team.

So....I can say with 98% certainty that I most likely wont be posting again..sure there will be the occasional post or 2, but those will be few and far between. Too bad to, this Presidential race really has my radar up and going.

I want to thank Airborne Vet, she has been doing a great job of posting here with interesting stuff. I want to extend to her the invitation to continue doing so. Its her stuff that is keeping me from deleting the blog entirely.

Folks, God bless all of you. For those who prayed for me in the past with my personal issues, I want to let you know your prayers helped and were answered. I want to especially thank Fire and Hammer for his support and encouragement.

God bless America, and God bless our troops

Sameful Journalism

Michael Yon has this post about Prince Harry. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Prince Harry was doing something that was honorable and showing the world he isn't just a spoiled little boy. He's a man, a brave soldier. SO what happens? The press comes in to muck it up. Two so-called 'journalists' leaked his duty location all over the internet and even published photos. Imagine my surprise when I saw a photo of Prince Harry serving in Afghanistan in my local Saturday paper. At least in the photo I saw, it looked like he was telling the photographer to bugger off. I hope he was. That would have been great!
