Uh, folks, the US gov't knew this attack was coming and didn't warn PH in time because it wanted an excuse to go to war. This is a widely held fact and very well know.

Is that right?
As I remember it America was doing all it could to stay OUT of the war because the conflict wasnt with us and didnt directly affect us. Sure..we were giving aid to our allies but we werent ready or willing to go to war.
There was some suspicion that the attack was going to happen but nothing concrete and confirmed. The most advance notice they would had FOR SURE was 1 hour, and that was hardly enough time to do anything about it.
There were reports of Japanese subs coming in to PH and the US did nothing until after the bombing. An hour would have mobilized the PH based forces, many would have been spared.
And once again the tinfoil moonbat crowd is looking for the conspiracy that the US Government wanted nothing more than 100's of US Soldiers and MILLIONS of dollars worth of equipment destroyed JUST to enter a war.
