Ok.... listen closely

Todays Supreme Court decision is not a defeat to Bush, its a defeat to ALL americans and our future security.

Can someone PLEASE point out that the people detained at Gitmo are NOT subject to the provisions of the Geneva Convention?

And if you have to argue that point with me, then you dont know what the hell you are talking about and should STFU

Bush hopefully will disregard the decision. He IS the Commander in Chief and has the power to give the orders necessary to run the war with these barbarous islamofascists (IF) any way he sees fit. The IF, who not only don't agree to follow the Geneva convention themselves, but who cowardly hide behind their women and children and their homicide bombs, have not earned the rights of civilian criminal trials that US citizens have. We are giving these people who are war criminals (or known associates of know war criminals) extremely humane treatment. Let's see, no one has been beheaded in Gitmo, have they?

Legally, the Supreme Court has no right to interfere with the Geneva Conventions either. What's next? Will they try to regulate the Uniform Code of MIlitary Justice? There are not to many people out there that understand the Geneva Conventions and/or the Law of Land Warfare and they need to keep their mouths shut until they do.
