BTW, Pat Robertson is in no way reflective of the views of mainstream Christianity...I think the outcry from conservative Christians, including myself, is sufficient to prove my point

Yes Nick, you are correct. And I have said it before in my blog...Pat Robertson does not speak for me nor the majority of Christians. Pat seems to think God is still vengeful and full of spite...The Bible says that God satisfied that anger and spite at the cross at Calvary.
