Anything and Everything
At home it seems like life is normal. Not much is going on, but when I turned on Fox News last night, all I saw was Michelle Malkin and Geraldo Rivera going at it about immigration. Of course, Geraldo openly advocates open borders, kept referring to illegals simply as "immigrants", and called Michelle a racist and implied that what she wanted smacked of "Nazi-ism". Sorry, Geraldo, but don't think asking people to obey the laws already in place in this country concerning immigration and asking that illegals- no matter where they are from- to go back home is racist or reminiscent of Hitler.
Every country has immigration laws. Why is it only the U.S. is yelled at about it? I say we go ahead and open the borders. Open nice and big. Allow everyone to come in- no fees, no rules. When someone comes knocking on YOUR door and forces you to accommodate them, what will you do? If you don't welcome them with open arms and give them whatever they want, even if it means your livelihood and culture will be erased, you will be labeled a racist. Just remember that.
In other news, I noticed Hamas hates democracy and, as usual, the Gaza Strip is in turmoil. Sorry to all you blame-Israel-folks. This time, it's Arab on Arab. Well, hey, isn't it usually? I say, let them kill each other, Maybe then the problems will be solved and no one can blame America because we won't be interfering. Oh wait, you'll probably beg America to intervene and then blame us again when it doesn't work (again). Screw 'em all! I'm sick of this crap!
Enough from me, where is the other guy?

I agree with you. Remember, Geraldo is the asinine a$$ who drew the location of the unit he was embedded with in the sand during initial operations. While we at home wouldn't have recognized anything, the enemy most certainly would have. He got a fast track trip home and he has been tripping ever since. So, his word means zip.
My ex was one of those people who came here from El Salvador in the mid 70's. He and his brothers and sisters and most of their immigrant friends don't like the new laws Congress wants passed. They get upset seeing those illegals protest in our streets carrying their flags and desecrating the American flag.
If you look across the world and America, who is really doing the yelling. Take a real close look. Then I would love to see your views on this topic. There is a common thread and voice out there stirring the pot.
As for Hamas, I say form a barrier, no one in, no one out. Let them fight it out to the end this time. Then when it's over, and only then, maybe start a process to allow them to work toward joining civilized nations. No freebies, they have to prove themselves worthy by how they begin to rebuild, that is if there is anyone left to do the rebuilding!
I see that Israel has decided not to interfere at this time. Good for them. Of course they and us will be blamed. What's new there?
