I have decided to take a day off from political blogging, with the exception of the comment sections of this blog and Airbornes blog.
So with that in mind, lets all shake our heads in abject disbelief:

Woman Who Ignored Tickets Gets Jail
Thursday, November 9, 2006
(11-09) 13:22 PST Scottsdale, Ariz. (AP) --
A Chandler woman who ignored more than 70 speeding tickets this year has agreed to spend five days in jail and pay thousands of dollars in fines.
Francesca Cisneros, 32, made headlines when she was arrested and jailed for ignoring the tickets she received between March 2 and July 31.
She recently entered into a plea agreement with Scottsdale prosecutors.
Cisneros initially had entered a not guilty plea before City Court Judge James Blake in August but later agreed to plead guilty to three counts of criminal speeding and two counts of driving on a suspended license after weeks of negotiations.
The plea agreement also restricts her driving privileges for one year, places Cisneros on a year's probation and requires she pay fines on dozens of tickets she failed to resolve with the court, according to Scottsdale City Prosecutor Caron Close.
Cisneros will have to pay an average of $157 per ticket for 51 civil speeding violations, fines of $293 for each criminal speeding violation and $568 for each count of driving on a suspended license. Those fines total $10,022.
Most of Cisneros' speeding tickets were from Scottsdale's freeway photo enforcement cameras on Loop 101.
She was arrested and briefly jailed in August for ignoring the speeding tickets.
Cisneros told police that she drove above the speed limit because she was late to meetings and didn't think anything would happen to her for ignoring the tickets.
About 25 speeding tickets Cisneros received on Loop 101 were dismissed as part of her plea agreement, Close said.
Umm...what say you get up a few minutes earlier Ms Cisneros? Nothing like putting everyones life in danger because you cant get your happy ass out of bed.

Ex-Aide Accused of Stripping Gets Prison
Thursday, October 26, 2006
10-26) 13:15 PDT South Bend, Ind. (AP) --
A former teacher's aide who prosecutors said stripped naked before students in a classroom and touched herself in a seductive manner has been sentenced to more than nine years in prison.
A judge sentenced Schmeca White, a former Greene Intermediate Center classroom aide, on Wednesday, ordering her to also register as a sex offender and serve four years on probation after her release from prison.
White, 28, was convicted last month on charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, vicarious sexual gratification and battery. She was acquitted on five other charges.
She maintained her innocence when she spoke during Wednesday's court hearing.
"I still say that I'm innocent, regardless of what victims said I did," White said. "I did nothing to those children and I still say that."
Prosecutors charged her with committing the acts in 2004 with seven students, both boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 15, while supervising them in a classroom during their teacher's lunch period. At least some of the children had mental disabilities, authorities said.
White has been jailed since her arrest in April 2005.
St. Joseph Superior Court Judge Roland W. Chamblee Jr. said he could not order a longer sentence because White had no previous criminal troubles.
Anyone wonder why the No Child Left Behind Act is a good thing?
WEDGIE TIME!!!!!!!!
`Wedgie' Gets Principal 6-Day Suspension
Wednesday, October 25, 2006
10-25) 12:14 PDT Livingston, Mont. (AP) --
A high school principal received a six-day suspension and a letter of reprimand for giving one of his students a wedgie.
Eric Messerli pulled a Park High School senior's soccer jersey over his head and yanked upward on the waistband of the boy's underwear at a soccer game Oct. 5. Other school officials said he was joking around with the student and did it playfully.
He was suspended for two days without pay and four days with pay before the school board decided Monday to let him return. He tearfully told the board: "I've made mistakes in my life, but none have had the impact that this one has had."
Messerli, who was back on the job Tuesday, will be required to talk with students and staff members about the incident to restore respect and authority.
He said his first reaction was to resign, but he decided to "tackle this mess" head on.
"I want to live in a world where we don't have to hide when we screw up," he said.
Whats the world coming to when you cant even give a playful wedgie anyomore? SHEEZ
Thats enough for tonight, hope you had a laugh, I did.
2008 is just 2 short years away!

RE the teacher's aide: What guy would not want to be in that class? Unless, of course, she was ugly or fat, then I understand.
RE wedgie incident: If only school bullies got that much punishment.
