Care Packages for UK Troops

Apparently, the Brits do not have a military postal system like we do and their troops have not received any type of care packages since they have been deployed. Now there are two addresses to send care packages to, thanks to Michael Yon's friend, Mrs. Frankie Mayo from www.operationac.com.

Please take the time to show your support to our best ally! Please send care packages and letters of support to the following addresses:

If You Can't Take the Heat, Get Out of the Kitchen

Bye, bye Rosie! Apparently, she got tired of working with people who disagreed with her. Thank goodness and thank you Ms. Hasselbeck for not backing down!

From the Associated Press, via Yahoo!
Rosie O'Donnell has fought her last fight at `The View.' ABC said Friday she won't be back on the show following her angry confrontation with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Wednesday.

O'Donnell asked for, and received, an early exit from her contract. She was due to leave "The View" in mid-June.

"Rosie contributed to one of our most exciting and successful years at `The View,'" show creator Barbara Walters said. "I am most appreciative. Our close and affectionate relationship will not change."

In a statement, O'Donnell said she was grateful. "It's been an amazing year and I love all three women."

Presumably, that includes Hasselbeck. The two exchanged bitter words on Wednesday over O'Donnell's opposition to the war in Iraq. They've frequently had snippy political exchanges during O'Donnell's year on the daytime chatfest, but never as long and loud as that one.

Well Deserved

Here's the story from USA Today...

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man trying to kill his girlfriend by stopping a car in front of an approaching train was himself killed Monday when the train hit the vehicle and launched it into him as he tried to flee, police said.
The girlfriend survived.

I laughed so hard when I read it. Talk about Karma. Ha Ha Ha!

Some things............

I am very busy, which is why I havent posted much.....but somethings are just too good to pass up and let slide without comment....I am taking some time to break this article down...enjoy

Carter Blasts Bush on His Global Impact

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Former President Carter says President Bush's administration is "the worst in history" in international relations, taking aim at the White House's policy of pre-emptive war and its Middle East diplomacy.

Sure there peanut boy.....Remember your mishandling of Iran? Ahem

The criticism from Carter, which a biographer says is unprecedented for the 39th president, also took aim at Bush's environmental policies and the administration's "quite disturbing" faith-based initiative funding.

What is disturbing there peanut boy is your handling of anything and everything during your administration. Lets talk about your failed attempts at negotiating the hostage release...lets talk about your brother the alcoholic thief. And DONT EVEN get me started on your inability to form a coherent sentence to save your life.

"I think as far as the adverse impact on the nation around the world, this administration has been the worst in history," Carter told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in a story that appeared in the newspaper's Saturday editions. "The overt reversal of America's basic values as expressed by previous administrations, including those of George H.W. Bush and Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon and others, has been the most disturbing to me."

Come on Carter....you have GOT to be kidding me...right? Worst in history? Look in the mirror you fool

Carter spokeswoman Deanna Congileo confirmed his comments to The Associated Press on Saturday and declined to elaborate. He spoke while promoting his new audiobook series, "Sunday Mornings in Plains," a collection of weekly Bible lessons from his hometown of Plains, Ga.

"Apparently, Sunday mornings in Plains for former President Carter includes hurling reckless accusations at your fellow man," said Amber Wilkerson, Republican National Committee spokeswoman. She said it was hard to take Carter seriously because he also "challenged Ronald Reagan's strategy for the Cold War."

Well now, that is very christianly of you isnt it Peanut boy? Hurling accusations? Lets talk biblical here you fool. Funny how some Christians forget the teachings of Jesus in the New testament:

Matthew 7
Judging Others
1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

6"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

Sorry folks, I call em as I see em

Carter came down hard on the Iraq war.

"We now have endorsed the concept of pre-emptive war where we go to war with another nation militarily, even though our own security is not directly threatened, if we want to change the regime there or if we fear that some time in the future our security might be endangered," he said. "But that's been a radical departure from all previous administration policies."

Pardon me while I roll on the floor laughing in hysterics. Did he forget his funding of the regime change in Iran which led to the hostage situation? How convienient that a democrap will re-write history to suit his own purpose.

Carter, who won a Nobel Peace Prize in 2002, criticized Bush for having "zero peace talks" in Israel. Carter also said the administration "abandoned or directly refuted" every negotiated nuclear arms agreement, as well as environmental efforts by other presidents.

Ahem...yeah right

Carter also offered a harsh assessment for the White House's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, which helped religious charities receive $2.15 billion in federal grants in fiscal year 2005 alone.

Um, excuse me, does he not do work for habitat for humanity? How much money did you allow to get to religious charities when you were in office you dunce?

"The policy from the White House has been to allocate funds to religious institutions, even those that channel those funds exclusively to their own particular group of believers in a particular religion," Carter said. "As a traditional Baptist, I've always believed in separation of church and state and honored that premise when I was president, and so have all other presidents, I might say, except this one."

Me thinks this is easily refuted....anyone wanna take a stab?

Douglas Brinkley, a Tulane University presidential historian and Carter biographer, described Carter's comments as unprecedented.

"This is the most forceful denunciation President Carter has ever made about an American president," Brinkley said. "When you call somebody the worst president, that's volatile. Those are fighting words."

Here is an idea for a pay per view event....Bush and Carter with gloves on in a boxing rink....man I would pay BANK to see that...betcha Bush would win!

Carter also lashed out Saturday at British prime minister Tony Blair. Asked how he would judge Blair's support of Bush, the former president said: "Abominable. Loyal. Blind. Apparently subservient."

"And I think the almost undeviating support by Great Britain for the ill-advised policies of President Bush in Iraq have been a major tragedy for the world," Carter told British Broadcasting Corp. radio.

You underestimate the British peanut boy. Blair is a very intelligent person, and he wouldnt blindly follow an american president into war, as usual with liberals, he (Carter) thinks that he is intellectually superior to anyone and everyone else, therefor his opinion actuall means something.

Die already ... will you?

Americanprotest.net hits the nail on the head again

Wayne over at Americanprotest.net has another great article:

Pelosi Protest Proper Procedure

by Wayne Boettcher
Posted: 05/18/2007

In Iraq, our troops are often successful in military and construction operations. However, mainstream news media rarely report good news from the war front. For instance, recently Marine Colonel Richard Simcock told reporters that progress in Fallujah is phenomenal, explaining that although the 2004 Operation al-Fajr almost destroyed the city with nearly all the residents being captured or killed, Fallujah today has almost 4,000 residents. Fallujah today is an economically strong and flourishing city. But this sort of news never reaches the USA through newspapers and mainstream TV news.

Politicians take advantage of the lack of information to declare our troops are losing and we should pull out of Iraq immediately. Giving no viable alternate plan, it is believed by most that these elected officials know that should we surrender to terrorism, Iraq would soon fall to terrorist nations. This would not only cause America's interests in the Middle East to suffer greatly, but our allies would be devastated and many innocents killed. Yet "surrender" bills continue to flow out of Congress for political purposes.

Recently some American citizens decided to do something about it. Led by Move America Forward, activists inundated the offices of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid with demonstrations. The patriotic protesters had many clever signs such as "Surrender Is Not An Option" but that's not all they had. Real monkeys dressed in berets and waving white flags were also there to drive home the point that Congressional defeatists are "cheese eating surrender monkeys."

Even cynical reporters couldn't resist the cute monkeys! With over a hundred showing up in San Francisco, passersby stopped to read the signs and see what was going on. There were also large rallies in Carson City and Las Vegas, no doubt causing the pusillanimous politicians to reel with shock at being confronted on the issues. How did it come to pass that so many elected officials (of our own country) promote defeat and cowardice, anyway? They are mostly Democrats but some Republicans also advocate surrender. A strange mystery.

There are many ways to fight them. First write, write and continue to write. Every time politicians send a smarmy letter back, refute it. It can be just a few lines: "You still haven't convinced me. Don't vote for bill HR XXXX, please." Write letters to the editor, call in to talk shows, get together with neighbors and have protests like the one mentioned in this column. Join in with campaigns like Grassroots.org and others. Move America Forward also has a TV commercial against Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid's policies which needs donations. These are the ways we must protest. This is the proper procedure.

Liberal news media is at the forefront of the problem. In spite of blogs, talk radio, internet news and Fox News, many people in America still don't know the facts concerning what's happening in the world around them. Furthermore, entertainment media such as TV shows and movies constantly propagandize the population with left wing ideology. Recently the Marxist regime Venezuela announced it would finance two movies by Danny Glover, as if Hollywood doesn't already have enough left wing propaganda!

Liberals have a tremendous advantage in the propaganda war. Does that mean we should just give up, too? No! That's just what they're expecting us to do, because that's what they would do in the same situation. America can return again to the values and ideals of Liberty we have had in the past. But it takes hard work, time and patriotic values. We must not think only of ourselves but our country's future. History has reached a convergence point where we the citizens must choose: sink into a liberal morass of Socialist disasters, or stand up for Freedom and America!

What a Shame

Prince Harry will NOT be going to Iraq. It's a real shame that a very capable young soldier will not be serving in Iraq because the media thought it was their duty to publish details about when and where he would be deploying, resulting in threats from Al-Qa'ida to this one person putting him and those he would serve with in danger. Gateway Pundit has the story.
