Shari'a Law for Public Schools

The Muslim Council of Britain this week has published a 72-page list of "suggestions" for better accommodating Muslim students in Britain's public schools. Is the school system, paid for by tax payers, supposed to take them seriously? Read all about it HERE.

The best laugh I have had all month............

Sometimes you just have to look at a moonbat and laugh hysterically while rolling on the floor....this is one of those instances.......

From Arizona Indymedia:

TUCSON ENMOD
by bg Sunday February 04, 2007 at 10:19 AM

from the circuit earth blog

020407. A lot of ENMOD (environmental modification) is to restrict/control digestion as I have highlighted before. This seems to be the crux of their attempt to control people and peoples minds.

Sometimes I get hit with energy (Microwave-others-dhs plants here in neighborhood) that makes my ears ring then have to run to bathroom -- this happened this morning. sorry for the indelicacy but many people share these same occurences and change will not happen if it is not discussed....understand you are being manipulated electronically via plasma tech implants and additives in your food/water/air.

In the grid that was in place in the 4th world which england and bush and the other torture lovers want to re-institute here, using cell phones and wireless technology as a cover the digestion control was used as control of the slave force, and also the dray animals and other livestock.

In the way they think, you are eating their food, so it is their duty to make sure you get the most of it and electogastrography is a BIG part of ENMOD and the antennae grid.

By controlling the elimination process they have taken literal control of health/ disease.

Just as teeth (masticatiuon) dictate the initial process within the digestive system and bad teeth exacerbates all disease because digestion suffers from the beginning, so does the process of waste elimination dictate helath disease.

They have the ability to monitor any and all digestivve processes within the grid and a lot of the chemtrailing is for just this purpose i have seen personal chemtrails just for me that many now are noticing as well....this was to keep me from elinminating sometimes, because as soon as i moved some miles off first the chemtrailing becomes frantic as they lose control of my system then i have to grab the tp and head for the woods, because i can feel their control come undone.

The military scum of the bush machine and their money lovers cover all this with weather control and other things but their main goal is to take control of an organisms body, therefore their mind.

This is all in place now folks. many gangs within the bush machine believe its time for America to go away, and they are scum.

Impeach and execute bush.

A lot of the fundamental churches here in America facilitated this takeover -- those traitors are complicit in a forced conversion, which shows how menial and superficial they really are -- how missionary -- they cannot take satisfaction in their beliefs they must make other people believe like they do. Or try.

-----------------------

020407. The military (new american police) at davis monthan afb in tucson az began a spy exercise yesterday (020307) about 2 pm, spraying small lines to the west of town, thereby bringing in an existing plasma used for projecting high power electronic eavesdropping and torture fields (the hate mchine--behaviour modification). The giant electric sparks began to fly immediately and literally, jumping from people to metal and many noticed. This is coordinated eavesdropping via wireless telephone and beaudrys rv harbored many of the operatives because certain people at the tucson gem and mineral show - myself included - were targeted directly. The dhs nazi corp is monitoring people they wish to harass and turn to their evil ways of thinking. They hold prosperity over the head of America like a ransom and the ultimatum is this: prosperity or freedom. They have us in a death grip and prosperity will indeed go away if they lose power and their police state, in the same way the twin towers went away -- these scum will destroy prosperity. A large number of truckers are part of this anti-america eavesdropping, and bikers are many times the SS types harassing people on the streets. This is the church of the skeered ratz, worshippers of torture and cannibalism.

Here in Hachita the human experimentation continues 24-7 with extreme ultrasound refrigeation experiments and people planted in the neighborhood (Smith DOD) to harass and deploy the interferometer experiments, slowly injuring people in suposedly undetectable ways. Nelson in charge of wiretapping and camera deployments I think. These scum are nt Americans and lie and cheat and steal as atheir way of doing business. No one is exempt from their depredations. Prey, it works. All military personnel and anyhone receiving a govt subsistence check of any kind are suspsect and are snitches for their lords and kings.

These types want people in the bush slave system to pay their social security and government welfare, instead of being American and demanding what is theirs they just wish to suck blood like their masters. It is their laziness that has instituted this police state here, and there are many israeli influences too. Democrats and republicans by definition, all now owe allegiance and much more to world powers. They keep all this secret but WATCH THE SKIES...the plasma events are to target individuals nd the operators need to be identified and put in jail. They are many.

DARRELL SCOTT TESTIMONY

Guess our national leaders didn't expect this, hmm? On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton , Colorado , was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful. They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness. The following is a portion of the transcript:

"Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

"The f irst recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain's heart.

"In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don't believe that they are responsible for my daughter's death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel's murder I would be their strongest opponent.

I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy -- it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best. This was written way before I knew I would be speaking here today:

Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You've stripped away our heritage,
You've outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question "Why?"
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!

"Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs -- politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.

"As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA -- I give to you a sincere challenge. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone!

My daughter's death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!"

Do what the media did not - - let the nation hear this man's speech.

Vranes, who is not considered a global warming skeptic by his peers, came to this conclusion after attending an American Geophysical Union meeting last month. Vranes says he detected ‘tension’ among scientists, notably because projections of the future climate carry uncertainties — a point that hasn’t been fully communicated to the public” — science reporter Eric Berger, writing in the Houston Chronicle.

A feel good story

Sometimes we need to be reminded of the good folks in this world...ordinary people who do something honest that merits attention:

From the TucsonCitizen:

Teen finds wallet with money, returns it; he wants no reward
By DAVID L. TEIBEL and RYN GARGULINSKI
Tucson Citizen

Luis Jaramillo's mother is ill, sick enough to be missing work from one of her two jobs.

He's 17, an age notorious for pranks and parties.

The Tucson teen found a wallet with $229 inside and no one would have known the difference if he kept the cash and dumped the wallet in the trashBut rather than take the money, Jaramillo, who spied the wallet Sunday in the parking lot at the North Cortaro Road Wal-Mart near Interstate 10 where he works, turned it into his manager.

"I didn't want to run and take it," Jaramillo said. "That's not the way I was raised."

Sure, he added, he stared at the wallet a long time, thinking how the money could help the family, but stealing it wasn't an option.

And there was more than just money inside.

"It had my birth certificate, baby pictures, my Social Security (card), shot records ... everything, everything was in there," said the wallet's owner Elizabeth Robinson, a mother of two youngsters.

"It was not the money I was worried about," she said. "To have everything back, I was just 'Wow.' "

What wowed her most, she said, was when she had a chance to thank Jaramillo in person after Marana police called to say Wal-Mart management turned the lost wallet over to them.

"He was just entirely too young to have done something like this," she said of Jaramillo. "It was just amazing."

Robinson said it renewed her faith in today's teens.

"I thought our youth was going down," she said. "We do have good youth here."
Marana police Sgt. Tim Brunenkant agreed.

"It's obviously very noble. He obviously was thinking, 'This belongs to someone else,' " he said.

When Robinson was asked if she will continue to carry around so many personal documents, she laughed and quickly responded, "I got a new place for them now."
Jaramillo responded quickly, too, when asked if he's been known to assist others.

"I've helped out senior citizens that have walking problems get into their cars when I'm working," he said.

Luis Jaramillo works collecting shopping carts from the store's parking lot. During the earlier part of the day he attends special classes for slow learners at Mountain View High School, said his mother, Miriam Jaramillo, 52.

While Luis' job has given him several chances to help others, Wal-Mart policy prohibits employees from accepting rewards for found property, Miriam Jaramillo said, adding that is her policy, too.

"He was doing that from the bottom of his heart. That's the way I raised him. I don't want him to take money from the lady. I want him to know he's doing the right thing," she said.

Her son said the same thing.

"I don't think I should get a reward," he said. "I felt good. I did a good thing. I came home and told my brother and my mom and they told me how proud they were of me. That made me feel very good."

The feelings were mutual.

"I'm very sick right now, but the things he's doing make me feel good," his mother said.

As for others his age who may stumble across found money, Luis dispenses the following advice: "Don't go out like a criminal. Don't be like them. That's pretty bad. You get only one chance at life."

From Newsmax:

Sen. Barack Obama Apologizes for Saying U.S. Troops 'Wasted'

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is apologizing for saying the lives of the more than 3,000 U.S. troops killed in the Iraq war were "wasted."

During his first campaign trip this weekend, the Illinois senator told a crowd in Iowa: "We now have spent $400 billion and have seen over 3,000 lives of the bravest young Americans wasted."

He immediately apologized on Sunday, saying the remark was "a slip of the tongue."

During an appearance Monday in Nashua, N.H., he apologized again, telling reporters he meant to criticize the civilian leadership of the war, not those serving in the military.

"Even as I said it, I realized I had misspoken," Obama said. "It is not at all what I intended to say, and I would absolutely apologize if any (military families) felt that in some ways it had diminished the enormous courage and sacrifice that they'd shown."

Obama made his second visit to New Hampshire on Monday, following his speech Saturday announcing his candidacy in Illinois on Saturday and a visit to first-caucus state Iowa.

Ok look here you big dummy. Lemme learn you a thing or 2

He immediately apologized on Sunday, saying the remark was "a slip of the tongue."

Is that right? Was this RIGHT AFTER you said it you moron or because someone had pointed it out?

During an appearance Monday in Nashua, N.H., he apologized again, telling reporters he meant to criticize the civilian leadership of the war, not those serving in the military.

Seems the dems cant do that without revealing their true anti-troop agenda. If it happened once or twice...FINE..I can accept that, but it happens EVERY STINKING DAY

"Even as I said it, I realized I had misspoken," Obama said. "It is not at all what I intended to say, and I would absolutely apologize if any (military families) felt that in some ways it had diminished the enormous courage and sacrifice that they'd shown."

Oh?? Even as you said it?? Which is why you stopped and apologised and corrected yourself right away huh? YOU LYING SACK OF COW DUNG...HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE AMERICAN PEOPLES INTELLIGENCE. And he would "absolutely apologise IF..." IF... IF ... IF WHAT YOU BIG DUMMY? IF YOU WERE CALLED ON IT? NOT BECAUSE APOLOGISING IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO?? ONLY BECAUSE SOMEONE IS OFFENDED?

Fire & Hammer: The Joy of the Lord

Fire & Hammer: The Joy of the Lord

We honor Spec McPeek

Saturday began a bright and sunny day, a day filled with hope and promise, as I motored my way towards the support our troops rally at the front gates of Davis Monthan, I was contemplating the day that lay ahead...and the sad but necessary duty we were to perform to honor an American hero, Army Specialist Alan McPeek.

The gates to Davis Monthan were festooned with the usual decorations and declarations of support for our troops.

It was an uplifting time that we used to strengthen us for the sad task ahead of us.

We wrapped things up early to head over to Evergreen Cemetery here in Tucson to ready the decorations and setup to honor our fallen hero.

The setup was done in a dignified fashion, with attention paid to detail, the American rememberances were spaced evenly and placed with love and attention.

We stood on each side of the road, with American flags, Army flags, flags representing all services and we were at attention as the motorcade arrived. Pima County Sherriff had 3 officers on site at the entrance, and they stood at parade rest as the procession made its way past us. For our part, we held our flags and placed our right hands over our hearts to honor the hero. Leading the way was the hearse carrying the flag draped coffin of our beloved hero, and the attendants in it were solemn as they made their way past our position, as the hearse slowly drove by I was hit with tears that didnt stop until after the last car had made its way past. Next in line was the limousine carrying the family. Then, the patriot guard, some 50 strong entered...solemn faces filed past us with reverance with a few nodding and mouthing thank you as they went.

Then a string of cars came in, some 150 strong (estimated) each one filled with people who had loved and known this fallen hero, and suffering the same mourning that filled each and every heart that day. Cars filled with men, woman, white, black, hispanic, asian, children, adults, senior citizens....all looking around and taking it all in, some burst into tears as they saw the flags, others just looked straight ahead, some waved to thank us, but we stood solemn.

After the last car had filed past, noone moved...there was a stillness that couldnt be explained...just felt, as I lowered my hand from my heart I surveyed the others in our group...and not a dry eye was to be found. Noone wanted to leave their position, we all just wanted to let it sink in. We were moved and touched by the whole experience, a box of tissues was produced and passed around. People started talking...for my part, I just stood to one side and let the powerfullness of what just happened wash over me. The plan was made to stay until the family left...I never made it that long, I had some business to attend to, but I stayed to hear the 21 gun salute and taps played.

I drove away with tears in my eyes. Nothing could have prepared me for the impact that day had on me, and the renewal of my vow to let all service men and woman know that they are loved, they are cherished, and they are honored as American heros in my heart and mind.

May God bless the United States of America and all people of the world. Amen.

Super Bowl Ads of Cartoonish Violence, Perhaps Reflecting Toll of War

By STUART ELLIOTT
February 5, 2007

No commercial that appeared last night during Super Bowl XLI directly addressed Iraq, unlike a patriotic spot for Budweiser beer that ran during the game two years ago. But the ongoing war seemed to linger just below the surface of many of this year’s commercials.

More than a dozen spots celebrated violence in an exaggerated, cartoonlike vein that was intended to be humorous, but often came across as cruel or callous.

For instance, in a commercial for Bud Light beer, sold by Anheuser-Busch, one man beat the other at a game of rock, paper, scissors by throwing a rock at his opponent’s head.

In another Bud Light spot, face-slapping replaced fist-bumping as the cool way for people to show affection for one another. In a FedEx commercial, set on the moon, an astronaut was wiped out by a meteor. In a spot for Snickers candy, sold by Mars, two co-workers sought to prove their masculinity by tearing off patches of chest hair.

There was also a bank robbery (E*Trade Financial), fierce battles among office workers trapped in a jungle (CareerBuilder), menacing hitchhikers (Bud Light again) and a clash between a monster and a superhero reminiscent of a horror movie (Garmin).

It was as if Madison Avenue were channeling Doc in “West Side Story,” the gentle owner of the candy store in the neighborhood that the two street gangs, the Jets and Sharks, fight over. “Why do you kids live like there’s a war on?” Doc asks plaintively. (Well, Doc, this time, there is.)

During other wars, Madison Avenue has appealed to a yearning for peace. That was expressed in several Super Bowl spots evocative of “Hilltop,” the classic Coca-Cola commercial from 1971, when the Vietnam War divided a world that needed to be taught to sing in perfect harmony…

Not a sparrow falls that it isn’t Bush’s fault.

Or rather there is no subject too far afield that cannot be pressed into service by the New York Times to press their America-hating agenda.

… and a clash between a monster and a superhero reminiscent of a horror movie (Garmin).

"Horror movie"? Try a Japanese monster movie. (Which, some claimed at the time, were allegories about the Cold War.)

I guess the Solons at the New York Times don’t get out much.

Couldnt have said it better myself if I tried.

Farewell American Hero

Tucsonan, 20, killed on his last day in Iraq
By Carol Ann Alaimo
Arizona Daily Star
Tucson, Arizona | Published: 02.06.2007

There is never a good time to lose a loved one at war, but for the family of Army Spc. Alan McPeek, fate seemed especially cruel.

The 20-year-old Tucsonan was killed in action Friday on his last day in Iraq — which also happened to be his mother's birthday.

McPeek's family had been planning his welcome home party when word came that the young combat engineer, and the replacement he'd been training, died together in Ramadi last Friday, hit by enemy forces with small-arms fire.

"It hurts so bad," the soldier's mother, 42-year-old Navy veteran Rose Doyle, said late Monday, shortly after the Defense Department announced the deaths.

"I would like for our elected people to stop talking and stop debating, and do something, please, do something. Because it's getting worse over there, and my son saw that it was getting worse," she said.

McPeek, a 2004 graduate of Mountain View High School, was the 27th service member with Southern Arizona ties to be claimed by the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He was the fifth former Mountain View student felled, a sad distinction for the local high school that has seen more war casualties than any other.

Since the weekend, friends and relatives have been converging on the family's Northwest Side home, many travelling from out of town to show their support.

"This is so devastating that, without them, I just don't know what we'd do," Doyle said.

"We're just kind of stunned by this whole thing," added her husband, Kevin Doyle.
Kevin Doyle said McPeek enlisted at age 17 because "he decided he didn't like what was going on over there and he wanted to make a difference."

Asked if McPeek felt he had made a difference, family members said it was hard for the soldier to think so, since he'd spent most of his time at an outpost near Ramadi that was such a hotbed of insurgent activity it had once been used as an al-Qaida hideout.

"He was in a very dangerous place," Kevin Doyle said. "He didn't see a lot of good happening there. He saw a lot of bad things going on."

McPeek was assigned to the 16th Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, at Giessen, Germany.

In his high school years, he may have seemed an unlikely candidate for the regimentation of military life. McPeek was a nonconformist given to flamboyant self-expression, family members said.

"He probably went through three different hair colors, and the styles went from long to spiky. One time it was gold, another time it was almost pure white.

"At his going away party, his friends and family took turns cutting off locks of his hair, getting him ready for his first buzz cut," Kevin Doyle recalled.

But the Army seemed to agree with McPeek in many ways, and he was about to be promoted to sergeant when he died, family members said.

McPeek worked at an Eegees on the Northwest Side during high school, and was involved in Pop Warner football for several years, they said.

"He had hundreds and hundreds of friends. He was just loved by everybody," Kevin Doyle said. "He was a joker. He always had a smile on his face."

Many were pals from his Mountain View days, Kevin Doyle said in a posting on McPeek's page on myspace.com.

"Every time he was home it was like a Mountain View reunion. Many of you have been in our home, and it was always very clear to me that he had chosen good kids to be friends with. You all are the reason he so wanted to get the hell out of Iraq," he wrote in a message to the fallen soldier's friends.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but McPeek will be laid to rest in Tucson, where he had lived since age 2, his family said. He was born in Hawaii while his mother served in the Navy there. He has a 13-year-old sister.

"We were offered the choice of a burial at Arlington National Cemetery," Kevin Doyle said. "But we chose to bring him home."

A sad story to be sure, but this man is an American hero...and his memory will live on as one who died fighting for freedom and democracy. I salute you sir, may you rest in peace and God receive you in heaven with Glory and Triumph! Let not your death be in vain, may God favor your brothers in arms to finish the tough job we started.

Councilman rebuked over decision to sit through pledge
Associated Press

Tucson, Arizona | Published: 02.06.2007

Several Mesa City Council members have rebuked Councilman Tom Rawles over his decision to sit down during the Pledge of Allegiance to protest the U.S. involvement in Iraq.

"I think that whatever the message is, and I know what Tom wants to say, has been buried," said Councilman Scott Somers, a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. "Nobody's hearing that message over the action that was taken."

Somers also said at Monday's meeting that Rawles' protest has been a distraction.
Other council members also expressed disappointment in Rawles' decision.

"I feel it is a privilege and an honor to pledge to the flag and what it stands for," Councilman Kyle Jones said.

Rawles, a former county supervisor, sat through the Pledge two weeks ago and announced he will do the same at every council meeting until U.S. troops are out of Iraq or until his term ends in late 2008.

"If I don't have the freedom not to stand for the Pledge, standing for the Pledge means absolutely nothing," Rawles said.

__________________________

Ok, on the one hand this asshat has the right to not stand for the pledge in protest...I know..I have used the same Supreme Court decision to sit out the pledge in high school (This was before I started thinking for myself) ... On the other hand, this man is a councilman and stands in a very important post for his city, it is up to him to lead by example and show the people of Mesa that you can be an American and still disagree with the policies.

Its an honor and a privelage to serve the people...at the very least he should show his patriotism by standing and reciting the pledge...if you have a beef with the policies of the United States, you have OTHER options!

I say down with the traitor...what say you?

5If anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved me as he has grieved all of you, to some extent—not to put it too severely. 6The punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient for him. 7Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. 8I urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him.

Psalm 51

1 Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.

4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight,
so that you are proved right when you speak
and justified when you judge.

5 Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

6 Surely you desire truth in the inner parts [a] ;
you teach [b] me wisdom in the inmost place.

7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones you have crushed rejoice.

9 Hide your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will turn back to you.

14 Save me from bloodguilt, O God,
the God who saves me,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.

15 O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth will declare your praise.

16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.

17 The sacrifices of God are [c] a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart,
O God, you will not despise.

18 In your good pleasure make Zion prosper;
build up the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Then there will be righteous sacrifices,
whole burnt offerings to delight you;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.

Isaiah 40:28-31

28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 18All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Congratulations to the Indianapolis Colts

They fought hard for a victory and deservedly came up winners.

Do we need to point out that this year, both teams in the Superbowl are led by true Christian coaches?

Nuff said.

The Bears played a great game but just couldnt find their grip on the ball.

There is always next year.

Brilliant

I was browsing Yahoo News (always good for a few laughs in their liberal slant of things) and ran across an article about Yale college and an email sent out chastising a couple for fornicating in the shower. That isnt what this post is about. What is is about is the fact that the article pointed me to a blog of a young conservative on campus who posts infrequently, but well. One post in particular caught my eye and I want to share with you, you can find this posting of his at PC-Ness over done

The Chicago Maroon's Editorial Board has decided to endorse "Gender Neutral Housing." What's more digusting than their position is their reluctance to admit it. They are determined to weigh in on controversial issues, but so afraid to offend anyone.

First they want to, “allow students to live in an environment that conforms with their notions of gender.” But they also want to stress that, “People with religious, cultural, or personal reasons for wanting gender-specific housing should have that option.” What do they think? Well, one would have to get to the bottom of the drivel to find out the real kicker:

Forcing different types of students together is for everyone’s benefit and is one of the best ways to overcome the stereotypes and prejudices that are rampant in our society.

You heard it, the best way to create diversity is to shove it down people’s throats until they like the taste. Wow, there’s tolerance for ya. Did people ever stop to think that some things were taboo for a reason?

Freedom Folks catch true America in Action

Its at the end of the video, so watch it:

Jake did a good job of just hanging back and watching the hilarity ensue. It always slays me that the socialists have a true and inborn fear of our military..why? Because they know if they ever start revolution, they are going to get their collective asses kicked.

The girl who did what she did at the end? She deserves a medal, she gave the troops the proper respect that they are entitled to by VOLUNTEERING to serve their country.

God bless our troops!

Farewell American Hero

From Arizona Daily Star:

Farewell to able noncom 'walking with God now'

By Stephanie Innes
Arizona Daily Star

Tucson, Arizona | Published: 02.01.2007

Walking away from the grave where his younger brother was about to be lowered into the ground, 40-year-old Christopher Michael Borea wiped away tears and took off the green camouflage U.S. Army jacket he'd been wearing.

"I'm not worthy," he said, explaining it had been a gift from his brother. "My brother was a better man than me. He's walking with God now."

Borea's brother, Army Sgt. 1st Class Russell P. Borea, died Jan. 19 in the Mosul area of Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated during combat. More than 200 friends and family members said goodbye to him Wednesday at East Lawn Palms Mortuary and Cemetery in Midtown.

The 38-year-old Catalina High School graduate was the 24th person with Southern Arizona ties to be claimed by the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan; two more have died since. Borea had been in Iraq since November with the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, from Fort Bliss, Texas.

Members of the Fort Huachuca honor guard lined the entrance to the chapel where the services were held. Outside, members of the local Patriot Guard Riders held up U.S. flags.

"I can never repay Russell and all the members of our military who have given their lives so that I can walk freely," family friend Jim Bridges said during the service, urging Borea's relatives to hold their heads high and remember him as a hero.

Staff Sgt. Enrique Torres, a member of Borea's unit at Fort Bliss, said the lesson Borea taught fellow soldiers was to appreciate time spent with family. He said members of his unit characterized Borea as one of the most knowledgeable sergeants they'd encountered.

"He will forever be in my heart and part of my greatest memories," Torres said before walking to the front of the chapel and saluting Borea's flag-draped coffin.

Fort Huachuca Gen. Carroll Pollett put Borea's identification tags around the neck of Borea's 10-year-old daughter, Marialena, and then saluted her. Army members presented Borea's widow, Maria, with her husband's Bronze Star and a Combat Infantryman Badge.

As the skies darkened and the wind picked up after midday, mourners gathered around Borea's burial site in the cemetery's veterans section. A Fort Huachuca bugler played taps, and the honor guard fired a salute — sounds of freedom, Army chaplain Steven M. Jones said. He told mourners to celebrate a life that was well-lived and spent in service to Christ and to a "grateful nation."

Before Borea's casket was lowered into the ground, his relatives paid their last respects. Several kissed the casket.

Borea was born in Connecticut to a family that moved to Tucson when he was young. His father was killed by a drunken driver three years ago, which has made coping with Borea's death particularly difficult, said Christopher Borea, who lives in Phoenix. Their mother, Gertrude, lives in Las Vegas.

After high school, Borea spent several years in civilian jobs, including a stint as a manager of a local pizza parlor. He met his future wife in Tucson and joined the Army shortly before the couple wed in 1995.

Borea and his wife, who also goes by her middle name, Nikki, had a home in El Paso near Fort Bliss.

Borea was one of six children — four boys and two girls, Christopher Borea said. Just 11 months apart in age, the brothers played basketball and football together as high schoolers. Christopher was the wild one, he said, and Russell was more conventional.

"I'm the one who was 15 minutes late. He was always 15 minutes early," Christopher Borea said.

Christopher Borea said after they celebrated Russell Borea's birthday in Las Vegas last year, his brother gave him the Army jacket, knowing he'd be in Iraq for a year.

"I think he knew he wasn't coming back," Christopher Borea said. "I'm bitter, but I shouldn't be. He wanted to serve his country, and he did what God told him to do."

Mexicans protest higher corn prices

This article is titled that they are protesting over the price of Tortillas. If you ask ME...that is racist (sound familiar lefties?) When you read into the article its about the high price of corn...not tortillas. My comments on the article are in bold:

From Yahoo News:

Mexicans protest as tortilla crisis hurts Calderon By Gunther Hamm
Thu Feb 1, 1:03 AM ET

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Tens of thousands of demonstrators marched through Mexico's capital on Wednesday night to protest a surge in tortilla prices that has put President Felipe Calderon under intense pressure.

Soaring U.S. demand for ethanol has sent corn prices to their highest level in a decade, pulling up prices of Mexico's national food staple.

Ok, starting off, lets blame the United States...common tactic by the left.

Protesters held up ears of corn and complained that Calderon, a conservative accused by leftists of stealing the July 2006 presidential election, was failing to protect them against foreign market forces.

GASP!!!!!! The left..In ANY country protesting that the election was "stolen?" Oh my God, tell me it isnt true!! And then the accusation that the President isnt "protecting" them from world market prices when THEY THEMSELVES are pushing for a new world order? Is it just me who sees what is wrong with this picture?
"Calderon isn't just a thief, he's a murderer because he wants us to die of hunger," Elvira Acevedo, 62, said at the march.

Calderon's leftist election rival, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, is using the surge in tortilla prices to snipe at the government and he joined the protest march on Wednesday.

LOL...Ok, so the loser is joining forces with the protestors. Eh....anyone see the correlation to a certain Senator here in the United States? Be the first to guess right and win a prize.

"The right dehumanizes everything. We are living the consequences of the imposition of a government dominated by white-collar criminals. They are a danger to Mexico," the firebrand former Indian rights activist told supporters in the vast Zocalo square.

I am sorry...is the problem a bad President or world demand for corn? I am confused.

Corn tortilla prices rose as high as 15 pesos ($1.36) for a kilogram (2.2 pounds) -- roughly 35 of the flat corn patties -- in recent weeks as the corn market tightened. Mexico imports corn from the United States to top up its domestic production.

And the world was warned by free thinking conservatives that when you push alternative fuels ala Ethanol, the price of the ingredients used is going to go up. But did the left listen? NOOOOOOOOOOOO they just want us to use cleaner fuels without THINKING about the far reaching consequences of their actions.

Calderon responded this month by persuading producers, makers and retailers to cap their prices so tortillas would sell at no more than 8.50 pesos a kilogram, but local media say some vendors are still charging up to 12.

Hmm...Government regulation of the free market. Eh, can anyone say, one step closer to socialism? Not that Mexico is EXACTLY a democracy to begin with

Before the crisis, tortillas sold at around 5 pesos per kilogram.

Calderon has won praise at home and abroad for sending out thousands of troops to hunt down drug cartels since he took office on December 1, but what is being dubbed a "tortilla crisis" for the half of Mexico that lives on $5 a day or less is stealing headlines.

Does anyone see the REAL problem here? Just wondering

Lopez Obrador held massive street protests that crippled Mexico City after the fiercely contested presidential election but Mexico's top election court threw out his fraud allegations were thrown out and Calderon was able to take office.

Wait a minute....didn't Calderon "Steal" the election? If it went to court and the allegations were thrown out, then how is it a stolen election? Its Deja Vu all over again folks.

Senator DeMint on the resolution to withold a troop surge

HT To Flopping Aces

Senator DeMint puts it very succintly and calls the resolution what it is, "This resolution is a resolution of defeat and disgrace" DeMint gets it, what the hell is wrong with the other Senators that they do not? Are they really that STUPID?

Not only is this resolution being supported by the liberal idiots known as Kerry and Kennedy, but some RINOs have jumped on board to throw their support behind it. Senators Hagel, Warner, Collins, Smith, Voinovich and Brownback all have thrown their voice of support. These people are idiots first class and need to be called on this.

When are the American people going to WAKE UP and see what the hell is REALLY going on in Congress? When are the American people going to PAY ATTENTION to the truth?

Just remember, YOU VOTED FOR IT AMERICA. Congratulations
